Amazing pizza, staff is really nice. The base of the pizza is really different from all the other pizza places you have been eating and it is amazing. They only have one size for all the pizzas. They placed tables outside for us as the weather was really good. I would love to come back here again. If you are coming to whistler do give it a try!

Let me tell you something: the Butcher Pizza from Functional Pie didn’t just feed me — it changed me. I opened the box and immediately heard faint Gregorian chants and a single tear rolled down my cheek. This thing is the Voltron of meats. Capicollo? Present. Pepperoni? Loud and proud. Fennel sausage? I don’t know what kind of fennel wizardry went into it, but my taste buds saluted. Then there’s the holy cheese trinity: Grana Padano, mozzarella, and pecorino — a lactose lineup so divine, I almost converted religions. The crust was that perfect golden-brown with just enough char to say, “Yes, I’ve been kissed by fire.” And the toppings? They weren’t sprinkled; they were strategically deployed. I had a slice in one hand and existential joy in the other. By slice three, I was mentally drafting my will and leaving everything to this pizza. Slice five, and I was texting my ex, not to get back together — but to let them know they never stood a chance against this saucy, cheesy, meaty masterpiece. If you’re on a diet, I suggest you cheat. If you’re a vegetarian, I suggest you reconsider everything. This pizza is a meat monument. A greasy, cheesy, soul-hugging testament to functional food perfection. 10/10 would eat alone in a park again.

Going, going gone! This pizza joint is a home run in Whistler! We always find ourselves fighting over the last slice. The staff are passionate about their craft, the toppings are top quality and they have come up with a crust that is perfect every time. As others have pointed out that they’ve eaten “pizza all over the world” this is one of the better ones I’ve had- perhaps it’s just because it’s hard to find another like it in Whistler but it truly is delicious. To the guys at Functional Pie, keep it up! To the owner, we really could use another location on the island, you’d do well here also. (Pizza we had: “Mess with Texas “)

This pizza is so good!!! The sauce and crust are just *chefs kiss.* As a vegan it’s hard finding good pizza since cheese is such a key component but this was so good. One of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had.

Best pizza in Whistler. Super fresh and high quality ingredients, thicker crust (but not deep dish), a Large fed our family of 3 and it was perfect, prob 2 if you have two super hungry peeps. We got the Greek Garden and it was excellent. About 5 min from Creekside, further if you’re staying in the Village but worth the drive.

After a hike at the train wreck, our family was looking for a snack stop, and I did not know I was going to enjoy the best pizza I’ve had my entire life. A literal hole in the wall....with fresh dough, real cheese and toppings.... I wish we lived closer! We ate it all before we could take photos. Tastes “crispy” ... I suppose it’s nyc style Thank you for being part of our great memories of our Whistler trip.

Functional Pie is one of the absolute best places to find a pizza in Whistler. I would say “Best in Class” for a pan style pizza for sure. It doesn’t really matter what you order as long as you’re prepared to be impressed. They are located in Function Junction and don’t deliver though. You’ll need to do a bit of logistical planning but it’s worth it. Don’t be lazy, go for it. Personally my favourite pie is called “Mess With Texas”, but like I said you can’t go wrong there. Exceptionally friendly staff you can tell everyone involved takes pride in their work and product!

Update of my previous review: I have eaten a second pie (train wreck) and it was great! I was really impressed by how fluffy and perfect the dough was, also the ingredients tasted high quality. The owner shows dedication to his craft
